Workaround Solutions To Resolve BSOD Troubles
Official announcements from CrowdStrike and Microsoft have paved the way for the emergence of workaround solutions that could be effectively used to get rid of the BSOD (Blue Screen of Death) woes, which had hampered your Windows Computers. The adverse impact, which caused BSOD troubles, was a result of a sensor update from CrowdStrike that caused the woeful outage in Windows Computers.
It has been confirmed that CrowdStrike has potentially identified the perilous update and it has been rolled back with immediate effect. Even CrowdStrike CEO George Kurtz has officially confirmed that the outages were not triggered by cyber-attacks, but instead had been caused by an adverse sensor update. Furthermore, the workaround solutions have now been offered to get rid of the potential BSOD troubles. The following workaround solutions have been offered in the form of Technical Alerts (TAs) to get rid of the adverse BSOD troubles:
- Access Safe Mode or Windows Recovery Environment
- Access the file directory of CrowdStrike. The directory path is C:\Windows\System32\drivers\CrowdStrike.
- Ensure that you locate the system file of 'C-0000029*.sys' and delete it.
- Once you delete the system file of 'C-0000029*.sys', you can then proceed to boot the Windows in normal mode.
Perform the aforementioned workaround solutions to get rid of the BSOD troubles in your Windows Computer. Microsoft has officially announced that the firm has taken significant strides in mitigating the potential causal effect of the adverse update which had hampered the functioning of its flagship product, the Windows platform. CrowdStrike has also potentially rolled back the adverse sensor update and it has also been officially confirmed that the mass outage was not triggered by a cyber-attack.
