Accelerating Network Deployment Across 34 Global Locations

A global telecommunications equipment and network solutions provider partnered with HCLTech and TECEZE to deliver an end-to-end network device installation programme across 34 locations within a single month. TECEZE deployed 48 resources to manage site surveys, wireless surveys, network installation, cutover and hypercare for routers, switches, firewalls and access points, achieving 100% SLA compliance with all locations delivered within the planned timeframe.

About the Client

The client is a global telecommunications equipment and network solutions provider operating research and development centres, production facilities and commercial offices internationally. With an internal engineering community accustomed to high standards of network deployment, the programme required precise installation, comprehensive documentation and thorough validation across every location.

Delivering a Complete Network Deployment Lifecycle Within One Month

The constraint: 34-location full lifecycle delivery, compressed one-month window, multi-device-type technical consistency

The programme required TECEZE to complete the full network deployment lifecycle across 34 locations within a highly compressed one-month window. Every location required multiple activities — from site and wireless surveys through installation, cutover and hypercare — while maintaining consistent technical standards across different network device types, meaning no single location could be treated as a standalone task disconnected from the timeline governing the other 33.

With routers, switches, firewalls, and access points all in scope, the resourcing challenge extended beyond scheduling into ensuring every deployed engineer applied the same technical standards regardless of location or device type. A one-month window left essentially no slack for sequencing delays, so any inefficiency in coordinating survey, installation, cutover, and hypercare stages across 34 sites simultaneously would have compounded quickly across the full programme. The organization needed a delivery partner capable of running the complete deployment lifecycle across 34 global locations within one month while sustaining 100% SLA compliance throughout.

Our approach

A Parallel, Full-Lifecycle Deployment Model

HCLTech engaged TECEZE as its specialist last-mile field services delivery partner. TECEZE established a concentrated delivery model designed to execute multiple locations in parallel while maintaining a consistent implementation standard. A team of 48 resources was deployed across the programme, enabling multiple locations to progress simultaneously and supporting completion of the 34-site programme within the one-month window rather than sequencing each site one after another. Each location received the complete delivery sequence — site survey, wireless survey, network installation, cutover and post-cutover hypercare — reducing the need for repeated site visits and keeping every stage of the lifecycle under one coordinated engagement. Installation procedures were standardised across routers, switches, firewalls and access points, with each site undergoing validation before cutover completion to confirm correct network operation regardless of device mix. Hypercare was included as part of the delivery lifecycle at every location, allowing issues arising after cutover to be addressed before the deployment team completed the site, rather than treating post-cutover support as a separate, disconnected phase. This concentrated delivery model enabled TECEZE to coordinate resources, schedules and technical activities across all 34 locations while maintaining a consistent implementation approach throughout.

From challenge to transformation, the solution included:

Parallel Resource Deployment

A team of 48 resources deployed across the programme, enabling multiple locations to progress simultaneously within the one-month window.

Complete Survey-to-Hypercare Execution

Each location receiving the complete delivery sequence—site survey, wireless survey, installation, cutover and hypercare—reducing the need for repeated site visits.

Standardised Installation and Validation

Installation procedures standardised across routers, switches, firewalls and access points, with validation at each site before cutover completion.

Integrated Hypercare Support

Hypercare included as part of the delivery lifecycle at every location, addressing post-cutover issues before the deployment team completed the site.

Governance and Reporting Cadence

Operational transparency and stakeholder alignment are critical to program success. A layered governance model keeps programme health and SLA compliance visible:

Cadence Forum Focus
Daily Deployment Operations Review Site progress across the 34 locations, resource allocation, active escalations
Weekly Delivery & SLA Review Sites completed against schedule, cutover and hypercare status, validation outcomes
Programme-End HCLTech Governance Review Full-lifecycle SLA compliance, escalation resolution, programme close-out documentation

The Results

Proven results at scale

34Locations Delivered
100%SLA Compliance
48Resources Deployed
34Locations completed within the planned one-month project window
100%SLA compliance maintained across all locations

Looking ahead

A Scalable Model for Rapid Multi-Location Network Deployment

The programme established a repeatable approach for organisations requiring rapid network infrastructure deployment across geographically distributed locations. The combination of parallel resource deployment, standardised installation procedures, full-lifecycle site execution and integrated hypercare provides a scalable framework for future network rollouts where speed, consistency and SLA performance are critical.
